So You Think He's World Class?

Could a piece of the desert turn emerald green this afternoon? O'Brien lines up a supreme team who could almost be termed world class for the fixture at Meydan. Confidence is abound that Wrote, St Nicholas Abbey and So You Think can deliver their world class performances and seal at least a treble for O'Brien. Taking the froth off the hype it certainly looks as if at least one can have the Irish eyes smiling.

The first day of the Flat produces the ever difficult to decipher cavalry charges down the Doncaster mile. The Lincoln is particularly difficult but the Spring Mile a little less so with Mont Ras looking the preferred option. Crockford's often has first day nerves and will be looking towards more predictable places for his Dead Cert and Whisper this Saturday.

Crockford's Dead Cert - Wrote (Meydan 3.25)
The confidence behind this classic generation horse should write the headlines on a few racing punters papers. Crockford believes this to be the certainty amongst the Irish raiders with Daddy Long Legs (if returning to form) chasing him home. This Dead Cert is worth a flutter at 9/2

Crockford's Whisper - Knight In Purple (Stratford 3.55)
This quality horse should at least charge into at least a place this afternoon. Backers should have a purple patch with odds in the double figures.

Crockford's other Saturday gambles around the courses:

Meydan - Red Jazz (2.10), Opinion Poll (2.45), Wrote (3.25), Hitchens (4.35), Await the Dawn (5.25), Sir Nicholas Abbey (6.00) and So You Think (6.40)
Stratford - Knight in Purple (3.55) and Whiskey Yankee
Kempton - Arctic Cosmos (2.20), Trade Commissioner (2.55), Starluck (3.30) and Palace Moon (4.05)
Doncaster - Mont Ras (2.05) Sirius Prospect (2.40), Barren Brook (3.15), Just Past Andover (3.50), Minimise Risk (4.20) and The Fun Crusher (4.05)
Uttoxeter - Westlin Winds (4.45) and Royal Present (5.15)
Navan - Chasing Shadows (2.35), Realt Dubh (5.20) and Slieveardagh (5.55)
