Frankel 1/10 to repeat Sussex Stakes victory

Frankel is 1/10 with Paddy Power to repeat his Sussex Stakes victory at Glorious Goodwood next week - but is that the value in the race?

A win next Wednesday on the Sussex Downs will see Frankel seal his 12th career victory. With eight runners declared at this stage his main opposition is seen to come from the Eclipse second Farhh and Irish Guineas winner Power.   The Cecil colt is quoted as short as 1/20 with Hills. Interestingly though punters Crockford feels may find even better Glorious value for a place bet with Farhh being offered by Corals at 8/1 (but as short as 4/1 in some places) and with Paddy Power and others offering 16/1 for the Irish challenger Power.

Place bets they will have to be as they will be chasing the Glorious Frankel home for second or third. 1/10 is still better than a bank or building society will pay on your investment.
